Bagh KYC & AML Policy
Bagh operates under a strict framework of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations to ensure that all activity on the platform remains lawful, secure, and traceable. These policies are not optional measures — they are core regulatory requirements that govern how the platform verifies identities, monitors transactions, and responds to suspicious activity. By maintaining these standards, Bagh upholds its commitment to user safety, fair play, and full compliance with applicable laws in Bangladesh.
Purpose of KYC & AML
Bagh applies KYC and AML procedures to verify the identity of every account holder, prevent fraud, and combat financial crime across the platform. These measures form the foundation of a secure and transparent environment for all users in Bangladesh.
- Fair play is maintained by ensuring that no user gains an unfair advantage through deceptive or illegal means.
- User safety is protected by preventing the misuse of accounts and financial instruments.
- Transparency is upheld through clear processes for ID verification, document submission, and transaction monitoring.
- Regulatory compliance is ensured by adhering to all applicable legal obligations governing online gaming and financial activity in Bangladesh.
KYC Requirements
Every new user registered on Bagh is required to complete identity verification before accessing certain features, processing withdrawals, or reaching defined activity thresholds. The following categories of documents may be requested as part of the ID verification process:
- A valid, government-issued photo identification document confirming the account holder’s full legal name and date of birth.
- Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, confirming the user’s current residential address.
- Confirmation of ownership of the payment method used for deposits or withdrawals on the account.
- Additional personal data or supporting documents may be requested in cases where enhanced due diligence is required.
AML Measures
Bagh implements a comprehensive set of security measures designed to detect, prevent, and report money laundering, terrorism financing, and any other form of financial misconduct on the platform. The following controls are applied consistently across all user accounts and transactions:
- Continuous transaction monitoring to identify patterns or volumes that deviate from normal account behaviour.
- Automated detection rules that flag irregular activity for further review in accordance with defined risk thresholds.
- Enhanced due diligence procedures applied to accounts or events identified as carrying elevated risk.
- Detailed review of large or unusual transfers, including deposits and withdrawals that exceed standard limits or appear inconsistent with account history.
- Risk scoring applied to user profiles based on activity patterns, geographic factors, and account behaviour over time.
- Screening of all users against international sanctions lists and politically exposed persons (PEP) databases.
- Reporting of suspicious activity to the relevant competent authorities in Bangladesh wherever legally required.
Prohibited Activities
Bagh enforces strict account protection policies that prohibit conduct which undermines KYC and AML compliance, compromises platform integrity, or facilitates illegal financial activity. The following actions are strictly prohibited for all users:
- Registering or operating more than one account on the platform, whether under the same or a different identity.
- Submitting forged, altered, or stolen documents during the ID verification or document submission process.
- Using the platform to conduct, facilitate, or disguise any form of money laundering or illicit financial transactions.
- Manipulating platform systems, exploiting technical vulnerabilities, or engaging in collusion to distort outcomes.
- Sharing, selling, or transferring account access to any third party under any circumstances.
- Depositing or withdrawing funds using payment instruments that are not registered in the account holder’s own name.
- Providing false or misleading personal data during registration or at any subsequent stage of the verification process.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Any breach of Bagh’s KYC or AML policies will result in enforcement action proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. Measures applied may include temporary or permanent account suspension, freezing or confiscation of funds linked to suspicious activity, cancellation of bets or winnings associated with non-compliant conduct, and reporting of the relevant account or transaction details to competent authorities in Bangladesh where applicable.
User Responsibilities
Every account holder on Bagh bears direct responsibility for ensuring that the personal data provided during registration and throughout the account lifecycle is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. Users are required to complete the ID verification process within the timeframes specified by the platform and to respond promptly to any requests for additional document submission or clarification. All payment methods used for deposits and withdrawals must be owned exclusively by the registered account holder, and the use of third-party financial instruments is not permitted under any circumstances. Users are also expected to report any suspicious activity they observe on or in connection with their account, including unauthorised access attempts or unusual transaction patterns. Failure to fulfil these responsibilities may affect account status and access to platform services.

Bagh upholds the principles of fair play and transparency as foundational obligations, ensuring that every user on the platform operates under equal, lawful, and clearly defined conditions. The following principles govern the platform’s approach to compliance and user safety:
